Dark colour with garnet tones, the nose is fruity with black cherry and blackcurrant. Harmonious and supple attack. The tannins are excellent and well matured. Le Petit Verdot brings peppery and smoked flavours that complement a very present fruit. Well balanced wine with a neat finish.
Chateau les Annereaux is located in Lalande de Pomerol au lieu-dit “Les Annereaux”. The estate is certified organic since 2010. Benjamin Hessel the new generation running the family estate had the desire to have a bigger impact for future generation but also the team he manages on a daily basis. Benjamin developed the agroecology on the estate, planted various fruit trees, wild hedges, and trees, introduced 60 bat net boxes and 5 bee hives. He is also very happy and proud to now be a certified B Corp, an internationally recognised label known for its comprehensive assessment of social, environmental, and societal impact.
