La Soeur Cadette is ran by Valentin Montanet who is the son of the Domaine de la Cadette family. He set up his own wine business after years of experience in Switzerland and France. Now he buys grapes as a negociant and makes natural wines with them. The name is a nod to his parents estate. The climate is slighter cooler than Chablis with great sun exposure, lending a balance of fruit and deep minerality. 30 year old vines farmed organically.
