Winemaking: Manual harvested grapes are gently pressed using a pneumatic press. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged on lees for 7 months in concrete and glass tiled cuves. Unfined and unfiltered.
Fresh mineral white with plenty of citrus and acidity. Saline character and great structure from the lees ageing.
Pierre Luneau and Monique Apin set up the Domaine Luneau-Papin in 1993. Now helped by their son Pierre-Marie. Granitic soils from the commune Chateau Thebaud. Vines are planted in the village of Vertou. Old vines planted in 1950 and 1987.
